As a member of the UltraServe Support team, you will be at the forefront of digital commerce and Cloud technology, assisting a global list of companies that are taking advantage of a growing set of services and features to run their mission-critical applications. You will work with leading companies in this space and directly with the engineering teams within UltraServe developing these new capabilities.

  • Learn, support, and use groundbreaking technologies

  • Leverage your day-to-day customer support experience to provide the voice of the customer to internal AWS teams on how to improve our services

 Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Open to working shifts (7am-3pm or 8am-4pm, Mon-Fri)
  • Strong customer focus;
  • Strong multi-tasking skills;
  • Self-starter who is excited about technology
  • Must have knowledge in the below areas: Networking (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, VLAN, etc.); Systems administration (Linux and/or Windows Servers)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing concepts;
  • Experience of team work and engaging others;
  • Willingness to adapt to a fast paced support environment and develop yourself with the team;
  • Experience with AWS, VMware
  • Experience with scripting / programming (Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript, C/C++ , etc.)
  • Experience with database administrator

Solutions Architect

Overview

Do you have the business and the technical background necessary to help establish UltraServe as the trusted global technology partner for delivering Digital Commerce solutions in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud?

UltraServe is looking for a Solutions Architect who is passionate about helping our customers build Digital Commerce applications at scale. Our Solutions Architects are experienced technologists with technical breadth and depth coupled with strong interpersonal skills. As a Solutions Architect, you will partner with Sales, Professional Services, and other Solutions Architects to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of our SmartStack platform. Our Solutions Architects build architectures and provide prescriptive guidance across networking, storage, container technologies, RDBMS databases, mid-tier technologies (application integration, security, in-memory caches), CI/CD tools. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is prepared to work in a dynamic environment with a strong understanding of large scale Digital Commerce solutions and experience leading deep architecture discussions.

Responsibilities

  • As a key member of the Solutions Architect team, ensure success in designing, building and migrating applications, software, and services on the UltraServe SmartStack platform (built on AWS)
  • Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create large scale Digital Commerce solutions
  • Educate customers on the value proposition of UltraServe SmartStack and UltraServe’s services
  • Author or contribute to customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, tutorials, and blogs
  • Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers and SI/Developer partners to enable them to be UltraServe advocates
  • Partner with the sales team to design solutions for customers that drive SmartStack adoption and revenue
  • Represent UltraServe at relevant industry events and associated functions
  • Travel up to 30% may be required

Requirements

  • 5+ years design & implementation experience with Digital Commerce applications (such as SAP Hybris, Magento Enterprise, Broadleaf Commerce, Adobe Experience Manager, Oracle ATG or IBM Watson Commerce)
  • 3+ years of experience in architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
  • 2+ years of experience in networking, infrastructure, or database architecture
  • 2+ years external customer facing experience in information technology pre-sales or consulting
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills a must with demonstrated ability to communicate at the solution level and with senior stakeholders
  • AWS Solutions Architecture Associate Accreditation, required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
  • AWS Solutions Architecture Professional Accreditation, highly desirable
  • Experience migrating customer solutions to the cloud
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
  • AWS Developer Associate Accreditation or AWS DevOps Professional Accreditation, a plus
  • Technical degree in Computer Science or Math background, a plus

Senior Application Developer (Full Stack)

Overview

UltraServe is a fast growing company developing leading cloud hosting technology focusing on high-end e-commerce customers. Our clients are well recognised local and international brands, and we have recently opened offices in North America and UK as part of global expansion.

We are currently seeking Full Stack Application Developers to join our team and work on our in-house developed application orchestration platform.

Successful applicants will have the following:

Requirements

Experience with JavaScript including one or more of the following web application frameworks:

  • VueJS (preferred)
  • React
  • AngularJ

Experience with CSS 3 including one or more of the following pre-processors:

  • Saas (preferred)
  • Stylus

Production experience working on Single Page Web Applications

Experience working with, and creating framework components

Experience with VueJS, Vuex and Vue-Router

Strong experience with Node.js and producing RESTful APIs on serverless infrastructure:

  • AWS API Gateway
  • AWS Lambda
  • AWS DynamoDB

Experience creating and modifying AWS resources via Terraform

Strong experience operating workloads on Docker especially via:

  • AWS CodeBuild
  • AWS Elastic Container Service (ECS)

Experience referencing interface designs / mock-ups to create layouts and components

Experience with testing frameworks like Karma and Mocha
